Biography
Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel was an Indian statesman and one of the founding fathers of the Republic of India. He served as the first Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister of India. He is known as the "Iron Man of India" for his role in the political integration of India.
Obituary
Sardar Patel passed away on December 15, 1950, in Mumbai. He is remembered for unifying 562 princely states into the Union of India.
