Biography
Mother Teresa was an Albanian-Indian Roman Catholic nun and missionary. She founded the Missionaries of Charity and dedicated her life to serving the poor and destitute in Kolkata. She was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1979.
Obituary
Mother Teresa passed away on September 5, 1997, in Kolkata. She was canonized as Saint Teresa of Calcutta in 2016.
